Textmolt Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Textmolt is an AI-powered writing assistant plugin developed by the Textmolt team, designed for WPS Writer and Microsoft Word desktop editions. The plugin provides AI-assisted writing, text rewriting, content summarization, translation, and other features through a sidebar interface.

Textmolt offers both subscription plans and top-up packages. The subscription tiers available for purchase, and their prices, are those shown on our pricing page at the time of your purchase. Users must register an account and purchase a subscription or top-up to access paid features. Unregistered users may use basic features within a limited free quota.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Users must provide a valid email address to register and verify their identity through a one-time passcode (OTP).

2.2 Each user should register only one account. Automated bulk registration is prohibited.

2.3 Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials. Security issues arising from user negligence are the user's responsibility.

2.4 Use of any paid feature, whether executed through Textmolt cloud services, local execution, or user-supplied model credentials, constitutes use of paid entitlements and makes the related order or renewal period ineligible for "unused service" refunds.

3. Acceptable Use

When using Textmolt, users must not:

• Generate content that violates applicable laws or infringes on others' rights;
• Circumvent billing, rate limits, or security measures through technical means;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code;
• Abuse, attack, or interfere with the service in any way;
• Transfer or sell accounts, subscriptions, or credits to third parties.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

4.1 Textmolt relies on third-party large language models (LLMs) to generate content. AI outputs are for reference only and do not constitute professional advice.

4.2 Users should independently verify the accuracy and suitability of AI-generated content. Users assume responsibility for any consequences of relying on AI suggestions.

4.3 Textmolt does not guarantee that AI outputs are fully accurate, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 The software, interface, design, and documentation of Textmolt are protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 User-submitted document content remains the property of the user. Textmolt does not use user documents for model training.

5.3 Users may freely use AI-generated content within legal bounds but should not claim it as entirely original work.

6. Subscriptions, Top-ups & Refunds

6.1 Service Nature

Textmolt is a subscription-based online service that begins immediately upon purchase. By subscribing or purchasing a top-up, you acknowledge that the service starts instantly and that, once you have used the service, the current billing period is not eligible for refunds based on "unused service" claims, except as provided in our Refund Policy or where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

6.2 Subscriptions

6.2.1 Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

6.2.2 Subscription fees are charged in advance for the upcoming billing period. Downgrades or cancellations do not entitle you to a prorated refund for the current period.

6.2.3 Textmolt reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing. Price changes apply only to new subscriptions or renewals after the effective date and do not affect active billing periods.

6.3 Top-ups

6.3.1 Top-up packages (e.g., advanced model usage packs) take effect immediately upon purchase.

6.3.2 Consumed top-up credits are non-refundable. Unused top-up credits expire according to the terms specified at the time of purchase.

6.4 Refund Policy

6.4.1 All paid subscriptions and top-ups are non-refundable once the service has been used, except as outlined in our Refund Policy.

6.4.2 The detailed Refund Policy, including the 24-hour zero-usage refund window, the statutory withdrawal right for consumers in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and exceptions for technical errors and service unavailability, is available at https://textmolt.com/en/refund and is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

6.4.3 Refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected]. Third-party platform purchases (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) are subject to the respective platform's refund policies.

6.5 Consumer Withdrawal Right (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area (the EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU or its equivalent national implementation (in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Because Textmolt is a subscription-based online service, by purchasing a subscription or top-up you expressly request the immediate start of the service and acknowledge that, if you exercise your right of withdrawal during the withdrawal period, you will be liable only for a proportionate amount corresponding to the service provided until you notify us of withdrawal. This acknowledgment is recorded at checkout and linked to your order.

6.6 Disputes & Chargebacks

6.6.1 If you initiate a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting Textmolt support, your account may be temporarily restricted pending review.

6.6.2 Fraudulent or abusive chargeback behavior may result in permanent account suspension and prohibition from future purchases.

7. Service Interruptions & Liability

7.1 Textmolt is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, third-party service failures, or scheduled maintenance.

7.2 Textmolt depends on third-party AI model providers. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, Textmolt will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives or restore service.

7.3 In no event shall Textmolt's total liability exceed the amount the user has actually paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

8.1 Textmolt reserves the right to warn, restrict, or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8.2 Users may delete their account at any time. Upon deletion, account data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1 Textmolt reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service. Users will be notified of changes within the product.

9.2 Continued use of Textmolt constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Users who disagree should stop using the service and delete their account.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

10.1 Subject to mandatory consumer law in your country of habitual residence, these Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of habitual residence.

10.2 We will try to resolve any dispute informally first — you can contact us at [email protected]. If you are a consumer, this Section does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in a competent court of your country of habitual residence where mandatory law gives you that right, and we will bring proceedings against you only in the courts of that country. If you are not a consumer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.

10.3 Nothing in this Section limits any right to use a small-claims procedure, statutory complaint mechanism, or mandatory alternative dispute resolution process available under applicable law.
