How we handle your email

This page covers one thing: the email address you give us to join the Textmolt waitlist. It is not the product's privacy policy — for how the add-in handles your documents, see the Privacy Policy. This notice applies to people who saw and accepted this version when they first joined. Existing subscriptions keep the scope agreed to at the time; submitting the form again does not widen it.

Who collects it

The Textmolt team, which runs textmolt.com and the Textmolt add-in. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].

What we collect

Your email address, which page you signed up from, and the version and language of this notice you were shown. We don't ask for your name or company. When the form is sent, the email service also receives the technical data any web request carries, such as your IP address.

What we use it for

Three things, and nothing else. To email you an invite when one is ready for you; to send you one email when public downloads open; and to recognise this address when you create your account, so the waitlist benefits apply to it. We do not sell addresses, hand them to advertisers, or quietly turn the list into a newsletter you never asked for.

On what basis

Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form and confirmed by clicking the link in the confirmation email we send you. Until you confirm, we send you no invite and no launch email.

Who else touches it

Loops (Astrodon Corporation, United States) keeps the list and sends these emails for us. Your address is stored in the United States. Loops' privacy policy states that Astrodon complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including the UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and that it uses Standard Contractual Clauses or other legal mechanisms to safeguard transferred data; its data processing agreement allows international transfers only with appropriate safeguards. How long we keep it

Addresses that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Within six months after public downloads open, we delete the whole waitlist. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address, as a record that you opted out, so you aren't emailed again. You can ask us to delete your address at any time: [email protected].

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Loading a page sends the usual network requests to our hosting provider; the address you type is sent to the waitlist service only when you press the button. That is why there is no cookie banner here.

What you can do

You can unsubscribe with the link in our emails or by writing to [email protected]. You can also ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
